Privacy policy
What Carrom Soccer does with your information — which is, very nearly, nothing.
1. Who we are
Carrom Soccer is published by Pingee Nexgen LLP ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you play the game on iOS or Android.
Questions about this policy or about your data: pingee.app/contact.
2. Information we collect ourselves
No personal information. We operate no servers of our own and hold no accounts. We do not collect, receive or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location. The game has no registration, no profile, no leaderboard upload, no cloud save, no social login, no contact-list access and no messaging.
We do receive anonymous, aggregated measurements of how the game is used, through Google Analytics. These tell us things like how many matches are started, which board themes are chosen and where players stop playing. They are not tied to a person and we cannot use them to identify you. Section 5 sets out exactly what is measured.
The game does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts,
calendar, files, precise or approximate location, Bluetooth, or health data. On Android the
only permission the app declares is INTERNET, which exists so that ads can be
fetched and usage measurements sent.
3. Information stored on your device
The game saves your preferences and progress locally, using the standard storage
each platform provides (NSUserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on
Android). This data stays on the device. It is not readable by us, is not uploaded anywhere,
and is removed when you uninstall the app.
| What is stored | Why |
|---|---|
| Sound on/off, crowd noise on/off, volume, haptics on/off | So the game sounds and feels the way you left it |
| Chosen game style, board theme, difficulty, player colours | So a new match starts with your last setup |
| Campaign levels unlocked and completed, per mode | So your progress is still there next time |
| Whether you have seen the tutorial, the practice round and the aim hint | So one-time guidance is not shown again |
| Games played, total goals, matches won | The statistics shown on the Settings screen |
| A count of how many turns you have played | Used only to decide when an ad is due (see section 4) |
| Your advertising preference | Remembers the in-game ads setting |
None of the above identifies you. There is no identifier in this data that could be linked back to a person.
4. Advertising
Carrom Soccer shows occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads between turns and after a match result. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob, a Google service.
To select and measure an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK running inside the app may collect and send information to Google, including:
- device advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID on Android; on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers only where permitted)
- IP address, and coarse location derived from it
- device model, operating system version, language and region
- app identity and version
- whether an ad was shown, viewed, clicked or closed
We do not receive this information, and we have no access to it. Google acts as an independent controller of the data it collects through its ad network. How Google uses it is governed by Google's own terms:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services
- Google Privacy Policy
- AdMob and privacy
Your choices about ads
- In the game. Advertising can be turned off from the Settings screen. With it off, no ad is requested and the ad SDK is not asked to load anything.
- On iOS. The app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not ask permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Without that permission Apple does not make the advertising identifier available, so ads are served without it. You can review Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising at any time.
- On Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, under Settings › Google › Ads.
5. Usage measurement (Google Analytics)
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is played, so we can fix what is broken and improve what is used. It is here for the functioning of the app and nothing else.
What is measured is what happens in the game, not who you are:
- events such as a match being started or finished, a campaign level being reached or completed, a screen being opened, and the settings that were chosen for a match
- errors and abnormal terminations, so crashes can be found and fixed
- an app instance identifier — a random value generated on your device, not linked to you, your Google account or any other app
- device model, operating system version, app version, language and country
- number and length of sessions
What it is not used for, and how it is configured:
- Analytics data is not used to personalise advertising. Ad personalisation signals and Google Signals are disabled, so these measurements are not fed into the ad network described in section 4.
- There is no cross-app or cross-site tracking. The app instance identifier is local to this app and is regenerated if you reinstall or clear the app's data.
- No advertising identifier is collected for analytics purposes.
- IP addresses are used only to work out an approximate country and are not retained by us.
- We never attach a name, email address or account to these measurements, and we never attempt to re-identify a device.
Turning it off
Usage measurement can be switched off from the Settings screen inside the game. With it off, no analytics events are recorded or sent.
Google's handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy and security.
6. Children
Carrom Soccer is a casual sports game suitable for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game contains no chat, no user-generated content, no social features and no purchases.
Because the game is ad-supported, parents should be aware that ads are served by Google and that Google receives the technical information listed in section 4. The usage measurement in section 5 records what happens in the game, not who is playing. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, get in touch through pingee.app/contact and we will help you address it.
7. Data retention and deletion
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing personal for us to retain or delete. The preferences and progress described in section 3 live only on your device: deleting the app removes them.
Usage measurements are kept in aggregate for up to 14 months and are not linked to a person, so they cannot be traced back to an individual and deleted individually. Deleting the app, or clearing its data, discards the app instance identifier, after which nothing further is reported from that device. Data collected by Google through its ad network is retained according to Google's policies, and you can manage it through the Google links above.
8. Security
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted by us, there is no store of personal data to breach. Local preferences are protected by the operating system's own app sandbox, and usage measurements travel to Google over an encrypted connection.
9. International users
We process no personal data, so no international transfer of personal data by us takes place. Google may process the advertising data described in section 4 and the usage measurements described in section 5 on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under its own safeguards.
If you are in the EEA or UK
Where Google relies on consent to personalise advertising, you will be asked for that consent before personalised ads are shown, and you may change or withdraw it. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests to access, correct, export or erase personal data should be directed to Google. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in California
We do not sell or share personal information, and we collect none. Any rights under the CCPA/CPRA in respect of advertising data should be exercised with Google.
10. Third parties in the app
| Component | Purpose | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) | Serving interstitial ads | iOS and Android |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Anonymous usage measurement and error reporting, so the game can be maintained and improved. Configured without ad personalisation and without Google Signals | iOS and Android |
| Cocos2d-x game engine | Rendering, audio and physics; collects nothing and makes no network calls | iOS and Android |
There are no attribution, social or advertising-profile SDKs in the app beyond those named above.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Significant changes affecting how information is handled will be noted in the app's release notes.
Policy version 1.0, 9 October 2026.
